During trips to Morocco, Andalusia and Portugal, I fell unconditionally in love with Moorish tiles. It inspired me to draw my own patterns, and to teach myself watercolours to paint them.

Drawing and painting precise patterns became my passion, and I changed career to pursue it!

My original paintings are made in a totally analog way. The first step being drawing a pencil grid, and the last step retracing all the ink lines after painting! Each painting takes about 50 hours and it gives me the chance to totally focus and forget about everything else (including eating)(which I never forget about).

After living in England and Sweden for 17 years, I am now back in France, sharing my time between my art practice, my job as a welder assistant for an metal artist, and renovation work!
